Your better off using Final burn Alpha to play it ,better quality

Search google for the emulator and i will pm you where to get teh ROM.

it rocks in arcade style qualtiy.

You can't play street fighter alpha or alpha 2 under zsnes or snes9x. It used a custom chip that has yet to be emulated and considering that zsknight has left the zsnes dev team... its going to be a long wait.

Having playing alpha 1 when it was released for the snes way back, i can tell you that you really don't want to play it. Street fighter 2 is pretty horrific to go play these days. (it was great then :P )

Alpha had less frames, the characters were even smaller than the snes SF2, it didn't even look good for its time cos the saturn was on the scene.

Some sound advice. Download the emu and then you can play yourself to death with Almost every incarnation of street fighter you can think off!!

[edit] Use ZiNc if you want to try some of the 3d street fighter arcades

25 variations of the same game, where 99% of ppl pick Ryu or Ken....quite rightly as most of the rest of the characters after 2 turbo are silly :)

    just wondering...
    is arcade emulation actually legal?
i know the emulation of home systems is semi-legal, but only if you own the original game.
surely most people who use an arcade emulator wouldnt have the original???
