Booking a hotel room on the Internet

Has anyone used the site below to book a hotel room. It probably a bit late to be asking as I have already paid by credit card.
    http://www.discounthotelreservation.org/

I have booked a 3 night stay in Brussels thought this site. I got the 3 nights for the price of 2 which was a good deal.

This is really my first time booking over the internet so I suppose I’m a bit nervous that it won’t work out .

possibly not much help but I've booked a hostel in prague online for later in august and I'm pretty confident that it will work out. I got a same day confirmation via email and was sent a voucher which I was asked to print out and bring with me. The site I used really clarified everything. and it showed photos of the hostel - the rooms etc. If you have confirmation and they've sent you som kind of receipt of voucher then it seems cool to me. if it doesn't work out well, you have the address and can reign punishment upon them!.....no doubt that will be cold comfort when your homeless in brussels. but no no I'm sure it will be fine

Me and a couple of mates went to Italy at the start of July for 6 days, and we booked everything, flights Derry to Lon-Stansted return, Stansted to Venice return (great deal; EUR 107 return) and three sets of accommodation online. Everything turned out great. Our first place to stay was lovely, the second was far nicer and the third was just amazing. (If anyone's going to the Venice area I can recommend some accommodation if you need it!)

Hope this sets your mind at rest somewhat :)

Hardly the same site, but GF is just back from there - they booked rooms through www.laterooms.com

(I'll ask her what the name of the hotel they stayed in was if I see her over the next few days)

I used hotres.com and hotelaccommodations.com when staying in New York - no problems at all - although I did keep expecting that there would be. Worth it though espcially for the US cos accommodation is crazy money and every deduction counts

I booked a hotel in Paris thru the Ryanair site - worked fine as well although the hotel was what is politely called 'quaint'!!
