Blast All Ages Gigs petition - young people need facilities

After a month long search for a venue for Blast all ages gigs, and after having secured the Voodoo lounge as suitable venues, two all ages Blast gigs this weekend, ( 27th / 28th July 2002 ) had to be cancelled because of Gardai licensing restrictions.

We've set up a petition in an effort to collect a list of names of people who want more facilities for young people in Ireland.

Please add your name to the petition,

What restrictions were these? Purly out of curiousity I'd love to hear more about what the police reasoning for stopping the gig was.

Also if your running an "all ages" gig, surely getting a venue that isnt a pub would be a better idea?
