To Holiday or not - that is the question?

Well its coming round to that time again - to holiday or not to holiday - that is the question........

I figure you need true stamina and a whole load of vitamins for this one......

One that springs to mind is this - whilst in the great US of A the following happened...

    1. The In-laws had a major falling out .
    2. The Baby caught a serious ear infection and 'puked' night and day over us.
    3. It snowed continuously in mid America so we spent 8 hours in Washington Airport which cancelled our day to see Chicago (even though we were on an 8 am flight).
    4. When we eventually got to Chicago we discovered that our credit cards, driving licenses, money etc were left
on the plane which was now on its way to Tulsa, Arizona.

We got on the Aer Lingus flight to Dublin, never so happy to be on our way home - it was then I discovered that any money, cheque books we had were in the hull - so I couldn't buy pressies on the plane for all the people that I had planned to buy for in Chicago. The steward, a truly decent chap, handed us doubles several times during the flight - he said we truly deserved them - and by God we did!

I would have to compliment good old Aer Lingus. I have travelled with them all, the good, the bad and the truly ugly but I am always happy when I eventually get on an A.L. flight, free drinks, happy faces, semi-decent food and babies get cots, food and milk and first class service, even though they don't pay - refreshing!

Anybody got something to beat that!

    To Infinity and Beyond!
