I have a Buffalo 802.11b PCMCIA card (WLI-PCM-L11G) and a Dell Latitude laptop (one of the oled ones) I install SuSE 8.0 on the laptop and have been trying to get the card up and running...

Its been driving me mad foir about a week now... iv been compile 2.4.18 and 2.5.x (what erver the latest is) as well as the latest pcmcia dist. SuSE trys to load the prism2_cs module when i stick in the card but this fails horribly. The module should be wavelan2_cs which iv installed and stuck in to no availe...

Basicly the card has never given me signs of life or given me a ethX to configure

    any suggestions??

Does the card even work? Have you tried it in win2k/xp at all?

Can you post up the logs when pcmcia is started?
