I'm thinking about getting some extra ram for an iBook, and I was wondering if you have to get a particular brand of memory for the iBook, such as is the case with certain Intel-based laptops.

if you go to http://www.crucial.com/uk they have a drop down list thing so that you can find the memory for your system... it'll tell you the speed, number of pins etc
