Did you actually get a physical holiday voucher of some sort? Every single one of those free scratchy-things I ever play seems to be a winner, I never bother following it up, presuming the prize to be worth less than the phone call to confirm it.

I find that the safest and least expensive way to deal with this type of scratch cards is to make the phonecall from work. Thereby you save yourself the €5 or what ever it costs regardless of the value of the prize. All it will cost then is the price of postage.

That 640 Euro holiday voucher, was that not off the cost of a more expensive holiday?, like 2 grands worth or something. Where basically the travel agent reduced the price by 640 Euro anyway because they couldn't sell that particular holiday! AFAIK it's all special offers they get free from various places that they give away, like a stay in a hotel for a few night free but you have to buy evening meal, or ferry trips real cheap and stuff like that.

I firmly believe you get nothing for nothing. I did a few of them cards before and according to the thing I won a 'gold prize' which listed things like a car, 10,000 pounds and a holiday 'voucher', I didn't bother calling cause I know it woulda been the holiday 'voucher' off the price of a particular holiday that they can't get rid of fast enough.

I got some scratch card arse-wipe thingy with a sky magazine some time back, won on it (as you always do with these things), but for the craic,I decided to ring up. got myself €150 in holiday vouchers, off any holiday of my choice @ first choice. Almost passed out when I actually received the vouchers.

I've been on Larrys Just a Minute Quiz 4 times. First time I won a big hamper of stuff from Knorr which I gave to my mum, next two times I won a bunch of CD's and the last time I won a bunch of CD's and two tickets to Oasis in Cork, the day before the concert :) I was on the hop for two of them so I had to give a fake name, "Johnny Rodgers" LOL!

If you ever see the van just go up and ask them.

I also won £1000 when I was 5 in some draw or something. Won 50 quid on the lotto once.

    That's about it. I'm mostly a loser :)
