FTP problem

    Folks

    I have a problem when trying to FTP, I am doing it through Udev, I get connecting to host and then after about 50 secs i get...

    An FTP error occured - cant make connection to host

    now it said when i registered with hosting company,( a free hosting one ) that it might take 72hrs to get up and running, but thats up now, so I cant figure it out, name servers all changed okay...

    any ideas pls.....:)
