In this situation, employing a security 'guru' would be like using a racehorse when only a hamster is required.

I would rate the security awareness of hamsters higher than than of racehorses.
This is why hamsters rarely break their legs jumping over hurdles.
Of course Shetland ponies are pretty l33t in this regard as well.
