i have a bad taste in my mouth. No matter how much i wash my teeth or use mouth wash it's still there. It's hard to explain what the taste is but i recall tasting it before. It's as if my taste buds have a memory and have remember this taste. It's not really affecting my life and I DO NOT HAVE BAD BREATH.

Just wondering has anyone exiperanced the same problem. I guess it willl go in a few days.

Is it like that bad taste you get in your mouth when you have the flu?

    i'm male.

No it's not like the flu. It's like i have bad breath, but i don't. I can't taste it all the time only if i sing, whistle, sneeze, and so on. It's driving me mad.

I reckon it's the signs of a fever.

well youre not pregnant so if youre a male. When I was pregnant I used to get a horrible taste in my mouth. Its quite common but unless you are a miracle of science thats not it.:)

you may have a little tooth decay, and it may not have caused you any pain yet. Or gingivitis, possibly, wich is gum disease.

I am not a doctor, or a dentist, but if it's gum disease, Cortosyl is a good mouthwash to get in a chemist to help clear it up, and if it's decay, it'll be picked up at the next checkup. You do go for them, right?

    Yes go see your dentist.
Its is probably pus seaping from below your gums. Bacteria below your gums in a carious lesion (tooth decay) produces this pus. There may be a build up of pus hence the constant bad taste as it leaks out.
Easilly solved by a trip to your dentist.

I would just like to say this thread was not about what i expected it to be about, and i feel the subject line was at best ambigious!

    Francie,

Maybe you have sinus problems, that can have an effect on your sense of taste.

I've started to rinse my mouth out with Salvon. If it is puss this should cure it.

could be, i have a keen sense of smell and taste. But this is a unpleasant taste, like rabbits inners.

    .

If you were washing your mouth with savlon you'd get VERY sick.
TCP is the only thing like that you can use internally.

On the tooth brushing issue. Three time a day should be plenty.

Morning after breakfast, at Night and after a meal if my toothbrush is handy is what I do.

And you cant damage your teeth by brushing (unless its a wire brush of course). The only chance of doing any damage is to your gums if you brush really hard.

No it wont, you have an abscess below your gum, you need to get all the rotten tooth drilled out and filled. Go to your dentist.

it's gone, kinda lonely with out it. It left on it's own accord, it wasn't the savlon i was drinking(yes it is a bad idea), or was it the containous brush of teeth. it just got up and left. And at lease i don't have to go see the denist now. happy day:))
