Dial Up server on NT.

    Yo,

I'm configuring a dial-up server on Win NT4 using Remote Access Services.
When I try to dial in on with Windows 98, there's a protocol problem
(the two machines can't agree what protocol to use). With Win2K, the connection just gets dropped before fully established.

    Any idea?

Tell me what you want to know and I'll provide it.

    Thanks.

    hey

Make sure only tcp/ip is selected in the network config on the RAS server ?

Is the modem on the RAS installed correctly?

Have you tried starting and restarting the RAS services?

Let me know the answers and I'll post suggestions.

Check Security for type of authentication being used (client and server should match)
and remove all protocols that you are not using.
