    Hi Guys,

For all of you out there who we’ve been talking to, just a quick note to let you know that we’ve just organised a launch for RAWK Magazine in Tower Records at 2.00PM on Saturday 31st August. Our cover band “Label” will be playing on the day so it’s not to be missed.

For anyone we haven’t been talking to yet RAWK Magazine is Irelands first magazine specifically designed to showcase Irelands best new alternative music talent. In a series of monthly reviews and articles on bands and singer/songwriters, it provides an ideal platform for emerging artists to display their talent to the public. Each band profiled also has the opportunity to promote a track on our RAWK Magazine compilation CD’s which will be supplied with each edition, an excellent way to reach so many music fans. They also gain a presence on our website, again providing the opportunity to gain the maximum exposure to fans possible.

RAWK Magazine is targeted at people interested in alternative music and in addition to giving emerging artists, some well known and some that deserve to be, exposure to the market, it will contain reviews of venues, rehearsal and recording studios and gigs etc. The publication will initially have a distribution of 5000 Copies + CD’s nationwide. Best efforts will also be made to promote these bands to every record company in the land and abroad. RAWK Magazine will also be promoting monthly paying gigs for participating bands through the magazine, website and various other media, effective from the first issue.

All of the above information regarding RAWK Magazine is being promoted through venues, stores and Phantom FM in the coming weeks. IMRO shall be running a detailed press release for the magazine. The Northside News are running a feature on us next week.

To all of you bands out there KEEP SENDING IN THOSE DEMOS! Some of the ones we’ve received will be in our August edition, some in later editions but rest assured we listen to them all, so if you fancy having your band profiled and getting a track onto one of our RAWK Magazine Compilation CD’s, send in your demos and contact details to:

RAWK Magazine, Newcourt House, Strandville Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin 3.

We’ll be back on to you ASAP!

If you want you can contact us at fspublications@hotmail.com

    Talk to you then guys,
    Fran.

Had to do a double take. Thought you were callin' label a covers band...imagine the rows. Seriously now, it sounds pretty cool. About time someone took this on. CD is in the post.

It's good to hear someone finally come clean and describe Label as Pearl Jam covers band...... ;-) Ah I'm only teasing people, now don't go & get your nickers in a twist...
