The clones; the next stormtroopers?

What dyou think?
the clones age would be far too high to be stormtroopers in 10 or so years, but perhaps they regrow them/stop the aging process some how..

any thoughts on the matter?

I dunno the timeline but the storm troopers are eventually recruited from the supporters of the empire, they even have a whole planet devoted to training.

Well, I doubt it. the storm tropers in the original trilogy were too, hmmmm, undisciplined to be the clones seen in ep 2. Plus they were working for the council of jedis.

I think you lads are being a bit pedantic about this issue.
As far as I see it, considering the style of the Clone Troopers being so similar to that of the Storm troopers, we are meant to make the (obvious) assumption that the Clone army are the precursors to the Emperial army.
I suspect one is not meant to think about it too deeply, as it will probably be another of the "mistakes" that Lucas won't be too worried about.

Lucas is dropping plenty of hints. Palpatine is obviously sidious who in turn is the Emperor. As yoda said "hard to see the dark side is. The clone army becomes the forces of the empire. The Empire strikes back music at the end of AOTC is a dead giveaway

they are. ever notice how all the stormtroopers r roughly the same height, and how u never c their faces the the first tril. plus all the other things mentioned. the only thing to suggest their not the same r the expanded universe books. and thats not even the storm troopers themselves, tats only officers and piolts tat r mentioned in the books.
