I didn't go, but watching it on the telly, I felt embarressed by the whole thing. Sky News showed it and it made the Irish nation look like a shower of idiots (100,000 fans to welcome home a team for winning fúckall). Paddywhackery at it's worst, Joe Duffy should never be allowed on a TV screen again.

I watched it on TV as well and got just the same feelings as Reef about the whole show.Joe Duffey is terriable and who ever made the choice to pick him to host it should be hung, draw and quarted.

He is a embarisment to this country and made the whole event look like a reject from It's a Knockout.

I've heard the name Joe Duffy before, but who exactly is he, and why did RTE etc (or whoever decided) get him to host the show?
