GTA3, PlayCD not required

    If you want to play your own music/cd while playing GTA3, play it in winamp (or somehting) before you start the game.

    There will be no game sounds though.

    Playing this way means GTA3 doesn't check for the PlayCD. Although, this may be different for different machines (ie if your sound card can handle more than one sound stream at the same time!)

    Yeah but most people prefer the mp3s on a radio station :) Why no use the nocd crack like everyone else?

    I also heard you can stick your mp3s or shortcuts to them in the mp3 folder and there is a way to play your own mp3's.. dont know if its true or not

    This thread locked at it's redundant and talking about cracking copyright protection even if just to play cd's or whatever is not allowed.
