Hmm well I'm going to say Harry Palmer just to challenge everyone who said Bond :)

Toshirô Mifune in every movie he was in. Mostly in Seven Samurai. Absolute classic no two ways about it.

Ripley in the first 2 alien movies, since the 3rd was rubbish and the 4th was just comical, with a French director basically just trying to make it stylish and flashy (best example of this is the ridiculous bit where the guy shoots the roof and the bullet ricochets directly onto a guy's forehead  ) Still, first 2 movies were possibly the best sci-fi action ever made.

Rambo in First Blood, poor dumb Sly Stallone coming back from a war his country sent him to fight only to find his country hates him for it... not Rambo in the other movies cuz they were some of the most offensively flag-waving gook'n'commie-shootin' redneck movies ever made. Also thought I'd include Stallone in Copland because it's the one movie where he actually acts.

Finally gotta go with Bounca on the Don Quixote thing, i kinda like the idea of a complete nutcase going out and being a hero just for the sake of being a hero :) btw help me is it pronounced Quiksotic or Keeotic? Argh.

Bruce Campbell has done two major TV shows, neither of which has been "crummy".
Adventures of Brisco County Jnr was fantastic. Depressingly underrated, but coming out on DVD soon.
Jack of All Trades was even better! This was basically Monkey Island: the TV show. With Ash from Evil Dead instead of faggy Guybrush. Shame it never got a decent time slot.

Oh, he's also had roles in Hercules, Superman, Ellen, yadda yadda yadda, but they weren't "his" shows.

Perhaps you should learn how to spell your right wing hero's name correctly, you xenophobic hate monger. Hopefully you'll be banned soon.
What is your hatred of all things Irish about? Is it some kind of insecurity? Do you hate the "Pa**ies" and the "Ni**ers" too? Or are you exclusive in your ignorance?

Chill eth0, you'll give yourself a heart attack.

My faves would be pretty standard (Ash, Ripley, Blade).

    Bad Taste was great :)

Was watching The Majestic the other day (Jim Carrey). Funny cameo by Bruce Campbell (total B-movie actor in it). He's the man.
