    My thoughts exactly! :)

Weird one, got the first bit and a fair way into the second bit when i ran out of time. pretty nasty.

you don't cover them, you're mean to recognise that if it's a palindrome then there's 9 ways of chosing the first "Space" and then only one was for the last one. then nine for the next and one of the space opposite it and so on and so forth.

Thought that was a relatively nice bit.

ARgh at the geometric series and argh at the further calculus, everything else was pretty ok.

For the palindromic years all you had to do was read the question.

Only 5 more exams to go :D

LOL i thought that the paper was easy! Remeber Serialkiller, when i mentioned that lots of the questions in this years exam papers came from the 'Less stress, more sucess' revision book? They pretty much lifted the circle questions from it, 50/50 marks there for me :)

Line and vectors was also really easy. The two trig questions were nice enough as well, i didn't get one of the last (c) parts of one, not too worried though. I just took a look and the two probability questions and never looked at them again. Putting the geometric series in the difference equation shouldn't have been a problem though? I didn't have any practice on weighted mean or those funky difference equations so i stuck with what i knew :)

What i didn't like was the Maclaurin Series question, it seemed a bit long and i hadn't revised it so i was kinda screwed :( I got the first two parts though so i should do alright

The only complaint i would have with the paper is that time was a major factor for me, i was writing almost continuously and struggled to get stuff checked at the end. With another 30minutes i could have tied stuff up and checked my answers

well i got it all out except the last probibility part made a mistake there.....was a few short in the total number of the palindromic years..

I found the paper more difficult than paper 1.

Q9 (c)(b) was a bit strange. Thankfully though I did Q8 which was simple(10 mins).

Q2(c)(ii) caused me grief and I never finished proving it but I went about it the wrong way. The rest of question 2 was simple.

The other questions were pretty simple. I was up till the end though trying to get 2(c)(ii) out.

I was a few years short in Q7(c) though. I used (9)(9)(1)(1) instead of (9)(10)(1)(1). I hope everyone remebered xyx (e.g. 121) as well as xx (e.g. 11) and the xyyx as given.

Easier than Paper 1 by a mile IMO.
    Q. 1-3 berri easier thh...

Trig Qs. not brutal by any means but hadda be thought about..

Option Q.8...bahhh...made a balls of it...

*think* I passed but prolly a fail overall...*hopefully* a pass tho..:(

Deffo worse than p1, but not as bad as my mock.
    3,4,5,8 all grand.
Got a big ugly mess of surds for 1(c) part 2, obviously some stupid mistake there.
Didnt get 2(c)(ii), how did you do that?
6(b) was a bit surprising but not too bad. Did anyone else get 8 1/2 for the sum to infinity?
7 was a peach until (c)(iii), cant remember what I got but I'm crap at probability anyway.

I really dont see how anyone has a problem with time in maths, in both papers I had all 8 qs done in 2hrs 15 mins.

Oh and Serialkiller I hope ur banker q in applied maths comes up evil.
Really should remember i do that.

I found Papaer 2 much easier than Paper 1. This did come as a bit of a suprise to me however....
Question 1 was the usual Circle question, Vectors questions was pants easy(100% there). The Line question looked ok but I neglected it due to lack of study of transformations, the two trig questions were fun. as were the probability questions...

By the way the last part was Difference Equations not Sequences and Series as you may think...

Q8 was sooooo sweet. I mean approximation of PiE was practically. garenteed...

    Heres to that B3 I need :)

Erm what are you talking about the last two parts of the difference equation question had absolutley everything to do with sequences and series. So much for your B3 bud
