    am i the only one who thought the film sucked?it was really bad.no dialouge no acting just a really really boring love story intertwined with a truely deplorable toryline.the original 3 rocked but the last 2 really sucked!!:mad:

    But yes some of the dialogue was REALLY REALLY bad but you must say.. it was some good action.. and se also looks FINE in the film! :D

    Wow, what a wonderful post you managed to scrape together there "Grunge Fan". At least give some examples, and better spelling. What exactly was it you didn't like? What did you like?


    Aaand so on. I just can't stand 2 line posts that go like this "it sucked! it so sucked it was the suckiest suck that ever sucked!".


    I thought it would be heavier on the love story elements (damn that first trailer!). Thankfully it turned out better than I thought. I wasn't expecting too much for a while there.

    Nah , you're probably not! I saw it on opening day and absolutely hated it. I felt betrayed by the clumsy love story between Anakin and Padme in particular.

    However I watched it for a second time a couple of weeks later and found it much more enjoyable when I was able to say to myself "well there's only three really bad bits in this film" where as the first time I saw the film I just kept thinking "what the hell is the next scene gonna be like? I bet its gonna be even worse than that 'smooth and soft' dialogue" and this attitude tainted my enjoyment for practially the rest of the film.

    Trust me , watch the film again and take it for the film it's meant to be (ie an enjoyable whodunnit with lots of action ... rather than the saga defining epic that a lot of people hoped it would be) and you'll probably end up enjoying it.

    Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, he hated it the same way i hate star trek and most other forms of sci-fi.

    Off the topic i have a pirate copy of episode 2 but i just cant bring myself to watch it until the offical dvd comes out, thats how much of a star wars bitch i am.
