I have two questions:

(1) When someone starts a new game, do they get a set amount of turns, or do they get the amount that everyone else in the game has already received?

(2) Do people who start off late have a disadvantage? If so, how so?

Well the max turns any player can have is 5000, I've used 6000 turns now, so if anyone joins today they'll will have 1000 less, so ya there is a small disadvantage to starting late, but not a major one yet, there will be after about a week.

Even then some kind sod can drop some pocket change on the newbie and accerlerate him right into the game.

Its never too late to join but if you do join a week late, make sure you have buddies...

Well actually, last round you needed to have played a certain amount of turns to receive cash.

you had to have something like 5 thousand turns used or you could just drop it on a planet and let them collect it. thats what i did last round for baldy.
