Good new SF writers

    Can anyone tell me a few good Sf writers whose novels have been first published in the last ten years? In other words good SF which hasn't been written by any of the masters (Asimov, Clark, Card). Oh and leave out Iain M Banks too. I've worked my way through his stuff already (quite good)

    Neil Stephenson, read "Snowcrash" first then "Zodiac" his others are also good

    Roger Zelazny "Lord of light" briliant mix of Sci fi and fantasy

    Greg Egan "Permutation city", "Diaspora" are V Good "Distressed" is OK, his latest "?" is also V good. Lots of hard science(ish) He a physics lecturer. Terenesia is sh1t


    Can't think of any others off the top... will look in the collection and see what I can see.
