Seeing all your processes

My computer got infected with a worm yesterday. I got it from a dodgey rom I downloaded. Anyway I tried to delete the file causing the trouble but the computer wouldn't let me. It just brought up the usual "This file cannot be deleted as it is in use"

I had to go into DOS and do it there. My question is, how can I kill a process on my computer? I know the Ctrl-Alt-Del can be used to kill a few. But is there some way I can see everything like on Win NT? I have win 98. Thanks

Yes there is, TaskInfo2002, from what i remember about this program its quite nice and you can kill and set priorities and see open files etc for each running process.

    Try this site: http://www.sysinternals.com/

It has loads of utilities for viewing processes, and open file handles, and loads more stuff too. I'm too wrecked to type a better description, just go to the site :)

In my case I usually go to www.housecall.antivirus.com do the online virus check and when it finds the virus (in your case I'd nearly bet me life thats is the klez.? worm) after it picks up the virus download the clean virus files
