Ahh, the old 'post things twice' trick. It is quite humerous when done in conjunction with a thread on Schizophrenia apparently!

Just thought I'd let people know about it.

Some daily news on sport, crime, international events.

And the Moderators aren't like Amp.

It may be a place to get news from the Irish Team in Japan at world cup 2002. They'll be arriving in Tokyo today, No?

NARITA — A British citizen named on a "hooligan list" carrying 175 World Cup tickets was refused entry into Japan and deported Tuesday, immigration officials said Wednesday.

The Briton, 37, was detained after arriving at Narita airport Monday on a British Airways plane from London and was carefully examined by immigration authorities as his name was on a list of alleged hooligans, the officials said.

Immigration authorities found a total of 175 tickets for the upcoming World Cup finals, mainly England matches, in his bag, and believe he came to Japan to resell the tickets, the officials said.

IZUMO — Ireland's World Cup players said Tuesday they do not want Roy Keane to return to the squad after the former captain was sent home last week.

The players issued a statement in support of manager Mick McCarthy, who axed Keane following an argument at their training base in Saipan.

"Regrettably, the manner of Roy's behavior prior to his departure from Saipan and the comments attributed to him since have left the staff and players in no doubt that the interests of the squad are best served without Roy's presence," said the statement, approved by all the remaining 22 squad members.

"The players bear no malice to Roy on a personal level and are looking forward to a successful World Cup campaign and the continued support of our loyal supporters both home and abroad."

The 41-year-old former player, who captained his country to World Cup success in 1986, recently filed a request for a Korean visa during the World Cup and the prosecution decided to grant his request, officials said
