    Ihave now been told that when i get a BBC FTV card the like of Channel 5, Channel 4 and some other channel are already installed if you like on the card, is this true??

    If you get a card that has already been registered to a different digibox than your own you will be able to receieve Ch4,Ch5 and the ITV's. If you get a brand new unregistered card you will receive nothing untill it's registered.

    I see, i have someone who has this card and he advises that it is registered. will it work in my box and will i get channel 5 . thats the only channel i want :-)

    that should really be 'if re-registered to your own set top box'. It will do diddly squat for you otherwise

    As far as I was aware you could put a registered BBC card into any digibox and you will always get ITV's,Ch4 and Ch5. You will get none of the BBC services.
