Yeah. UEFA have said that any talk of the OF joining English football at any level is completely irrelevant until the SFA and the English FA reach agreement. UEFA says it has nothing to do with them until this happens. I don't believe, from what the English FA have been saying publically, that this is likely to happen anytime soon.

Sooner than ye think Im afraid!
As was stated the other day.........
Waite till the next Sky contract is up (two seasons) and sky only offer 5-600 million as they are the only ones bidding.
Youll find that it suddenly makes perfect sense for the English FA! The OF have already said they will give a significant golden handshake to the SPL so the obejctions there will suddenly disapear as well

On Five-Live yesterday, the pundits seem to think that the only way it will happen is if there is another "breakaway" league such as when the premiership was formed- with the Old Firm included.

You're right Jake. I'd say bskyb might have a few things to entice all the parties.

Alex McGliesh seems a bit pesimistic!!! he said" i believe that we will play in england when i see the fixture list for the year"

It would be excellent if they played in england but i reckon that the need to play in the first devision before the play premier! especially rangers.... celtic have played so many testimonials that they are gettin used to played in england!!!!

There is a chap called Keith Harris frmo the FA who has been having meetings with Dermot Desmond and David Murray. However, all they are doing is setting up their own little clique, Harris has not got much power, and most of the people at the top of the English FA are fairly silent.
