Best and worst signings this seson

well i think robert for newcastle was a brillant signing and maybe all of leicsters signings as bad.
but what do all ye think?

he scored an awful lot of goals for a midfielder and he really gave newcastle a lift at the start of the season

Two of Liverpools signings Riise and Dudek have been outstanding, considering ones a ginger tosser and the other ones got a very doddy tash.
Remember Riise's bullet free kick against Man Yoo, fantastic!!!!

I'd have to say Jerzy Dudek, Risse, Van Nistelrooy (even though I don't rate him highly) were probably the best.

Best performances I'd give to Gudjohnsson and Ljunberg. Two excellent players, been scoring important goals all season. Arsenal probably wouldn't have done so well if Ljunberg and Pires weren't there. I really admire those three players although Pires got injured. Shame about the world cup

Inamoto for Arsenal was the best signing in terms of the amount of money the club made off him and the worst signing because hes played once in the premiership i think ?

Was embarrasing to see him lifting the trophy have to feel sorry for the poor ****

best signing all year was David Moyes for Everton, he saved them from relegation without a doubt, Van Tapsinanddives for the moaners and possibly gudjohnson.

Worst signing was probably veron or possibly forlan. Just in terms of high profile flop and replacing andy cole with someone as bad.

Player of the year, id go for Pires or Henry. Goal of the year would be either Dinny Bergamps piece of magic with Duffers latest putting in an appearance (theres another one, but i cant remeber who scored it - sinclair? cant remember)

The Sinclair goal you're talking about Dustaz was amazing. Its the one where West Ham have a corner, someone chips it to Cole on the corner of the box who juggles it a bit and flicks it to the back stick where Sinclair is waiting and performs an amazing overhead scissor kick. The great part of the goal was the fact the ball never touched the ground once.

Bergkamps goal against Newcastle was world class though!!!

Inamoto was sold? How much did they get for him?

The worst signing was ironically the most expensive one Juan "Seba" Veron. Emannuel Petit is another dire has-been with not a football-heart in sight past his chest. The amazing "I want money and i want it now" Anelka wasnt worth bringing if he was with everton or tranmere let alone across the english channel. We havent seen enough of Junichi Inamoto though the world cup will show us a bit more of this talented young prospect.

I go with the flow here as I also reckon Veron was worst signing and think Riise was great signing (Dudek and RVN must also get a mention). Ljunberg has had an exceptional while of late. I didn't think much of him when he first joined Arsenal (or Pires for that matter) but both have shone into good players.
