I don't know if it is the best way but, I have a SCART from the STB going to my TV and the other going to my VCR. When I want to record SKY I just set the video channel to L4 (This is the label to for the relevent SCART socket on my VCR, it may be different for you.) Thsi works fine and the quality is very good. LIke I say, I don't know if this is the best way but it seems to be the easiest way and it works fine.

if your VCR has no scart socket you could connect the VCR and Sky with an RF lead

If your video is new, then it will have scart and thats the best way to set it up. My video is 18 months old and it also has a nice feature. If you connect Sky to the Ext 2 scart socket, and you leave the viseo in standby, it automatically recods all autoview programmes set on the digibox through the auto planner. Saves you setting the video timer ...
