My FTV card has stopped working! All the BBC channels have packed in completely. There is a please call to subscribe message. ITV C4 And C5 are ok.

It is an old subscription card that was sold to me with the box. Will the channels come back by themseleves or is has the card had it?

Thanks in advance for you advice

    James

Leave the box on, card in,all day and night if necessary and they will be back.
My BBC Carded box is never plugged out and always on stand by so never has this problem.
As posted elsewhere here, the above advice should do the trick.

    Thanks mm for your advice.

What sort of time scale are we taking about? 1 day 1 week?

Overnight should do it,or all day if you are at work, but let it be a continious period.

I instigated a plea for a London FTA card on another website, and ended up getting the promise for at least five FTA cards.
One London, One Scottish, One Welsh, One NI and one Tyneside.
Can all five cards be enabled for one Digibox, or does enabling one, disable the previous one?

A card will only work (fully) in a single box - but a box can have many cards!

Cheers mate, I might activate them all for when My year is up on Sky.

Just out of interest why do you want five different cards married to the same box? Apart from the BBC One regional variations (which may be available to all areas soon anyway) all the channels are the same. The ITV region on 103 will be different, but all are available through add channels.

Well it would be nice to plug in say the London card, and immediatly get all the London variations on the EPG.
