I was just wondering what ye think of X-Men, the movie.

I thought it was excellent. Friends of mine thought it was crap.

I know the film is 2 years old but they're making a game on it now. It just reminded me the movie.

take it as a live action comic, nothing more and its one of the best out there. it is almost as good as the first tim burton batman movie. will spiderman be good?

I thought it was alright, i was a bit disapointed it was set so early in the X-Men timeline but still enjoyable, and leaves room for lots more movies. :)

I enjoyed the film and hope they do the next one.
BUT there were and everyone has to admit it some completely thick moments like the ever popular -
"what does a toad do when struck by lightning" or whatever the phrase was by storm - that should have been cut or dubbed somthing else over it.

Now the two mates who went to the cinema with me thought it was complete tripe and a waste of a cinema ticket - so no pleasing everyone.

Ya I think it's one of those movies that you wouldn't get sick of the sequels. Movies like Batman just went downhill after the second one. The movie leaves the storyline fairly open - especially the Wolverine plot.
The game that's in the pipeline is written uniquely for the game but it's based on Wolverine.
The sequel should be good. But they won't say anything about the storyline.

I liked X-Men a lot. One of the few movies that summer that actually delivered on its promise and was a genuinely entertaining blockbuster.

I liked it, though I did think there was just a little bit of "oomph" missing somewhere. Probably in pacing - I had the same problem with Panic Room recently (went to see it on Thursday)

Have to admit I didn't go to see it in the cinema (downloaded a screener off the Net after the US release as I was impatient to see it, then didn't get around to seeing it on the big screen) - odd as I usually go to see almost everything that isn't obviously useless.

I liked it it too, it was a nice hour or two worth of entertainment. Not too taxing on the ol' synapses though ;) btw, what ever happened to X-Men 2 ?

Yeah it goin to be cool. Hopefully Gambit and beast will be in it this time. Gambit is deadly with the exploding cards. I think second coolest next to Wolverine!

I thought it was a good flick but could have been better.
I liked the way they had Ice Man, Shadow Cat, and Jublee in the class room with rouge (nice touch).

Word is it will be Beast and the others from the first one thats it. I'd like to know who the villans will be I'd like to see Mr Sinister and the nasty boys, but thats just me.

I enjoyed the movie, because it had alot of depth and some really good actors playing the characters.

I was wondering what everyone thought of the special effects, cgi etc....

I liked it, but I think the celtic tiger liked it more

Well i liked it any way. It had some good actors for the type of film it was. Paddy stewart was very good and so was iano macker.

I thought the film lacked a bt of substance it could have been longer, and yeah could have done with some better dialogue.
