    I got a small 25w amp, but I'm looking at buying a bigger one. Any advice on what I should buy knowing that I play stuff ranging from Iron Maiden to Type O', passing by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rhapsody, SOAD, Morbid Angel and all that...

    I dont know about amps really, but if your gigging a 150w Trace elliott should be your priority. My bassest has one, but I can't remember the model name.

    Trace elliot are your only man for rocky stuff but Laney sound great for metal and punk, really punchy sound off em.

    I have used the 715 100w trace combo since new, mid 80s and never give me ony problems brill sound

    so what does that say abt trace

    If you have the cash Eden or SWR are worth the investment depending on your style, though for you're style of music the TE recommended above might be more appropriate.
