    Just released today.

    Got the original story on the Register.

    43% of homes use unmetred access
    3% have broadband (results from February - this is likely to have gone up)

    Anyway, makes for some interesting reading.

    3 % of UK population ~ 1.8 million, half the population of Ireland using broadband.
    3 % of Ireland ~ 108,000- not near that amount using broadband. More like 8.
