Hi All,

I am heading to Nepal to do some trekking for a month in October. I would also like to cross into Tibet while I am in that part of the world and see it before it is completely ruined.

I was wondering if anyone has any information on the best way of getting into Tibet from Nepal. The information I have found is sketchy on it and basically says that it's a painful process which can be very expensive. Not much help there!

Any tips, experiences etc. much appreciated!
