    A friend of mine jacked in his job to go to Ghana for 4 months and do charidee work. IT stuff and the like. There was an article about it in the current issue of In Dublin. If there's any mugs out there that aren't afraid of being eaten by nig nogs and want to help out, more info is at www.geekcorps.org

    (think he may be being sarcastic towards idiots who might just refer to half the world's population as nig nogs or something equally intelligent. These may not be people who would volunteer to walk an old lady across the street, let alone this)

    Looks interesting btw. Definitely not for me this year (projects and one illness repeat exam) but might well consider it in twelve months.

    Knew a girl who went over on a similar trip all full of christian goodness and an earnest desire to change the world etc, etc. Suffice to say she came back after a few months without a good thing to say about anyone or anything over there swearing simply "Never again". Though I suppose it takes all sorts.

    twould look good on the resume, just quitting work like that. 'Spontaneous, adapts quickly' is how I would phrase it.
