Nice picture there you have indeed. Quite cold for my liking but groovy.

I don't have some of the plugins required to view most of your stuff and Tripod doesn't allow external linking to files at least jpg files. Move to another host I'd say.

But good luck with your work, you seem young so have lots of time to hone :D

    Hey David,
I ment to reply to this yesterday :)
Some really lovely animation there. I loved he first one, the animal. Really wonderfull. Great work on the eyes.

Some blah work there as well im afraid. If you are presenting this portfolio for work id cull a bit of it. A Few really quality pieces is better than loads of ok pieces. They all reflect on each other so keep it lean and mean. By all means keep them in an 'experimental' section of your portfolio.

I loved the transitions in the nazi video. deceptivle simple and clever.
    The balance.avi was... worrying :)
The blender stuff would be fine in an experimental section. Unfortunatly the pluggin kept crashing my browser everytime id press the back button which really annoyed me.

The flash work gives the impression of someone starting out in layout and design. Id love to see you trying some colour in future designs.

Your life drawing blew me away. Have you been doing it long? your bold lines suggest a maturity and practice of it.

Your test looks interesting. Is that a renderer for blender? Have you played with 3d max?

Please keep posting your stuff :)

    Hurrah!

    some constructive commentary!
    thanks a lot.
yes i realise some stuff must be dropped..especially some of the the 3d stuff.

your right i need to do some colour stuff in flash.

ive been doing life drawing on and off for for 2 and a half years i think, i do most in class though!

i have played with 3dmax, to be honest i didnt really like it, possibly because i had been using blender for so long (2 COMPLETELY different workflows/UIs)

right now im concentrating on maya and getting the ol' portfolio together.

    thanks!
