When the system was originally set up via my vcr the detection worked perfectly however I recently rearranged my living room and when i reconnected up everything the detection didn't work any more. I'm having a problem with my Sky Digital box detecting widescreen programs.

When the system was originally set up via my vcr the detection worked perfectly however I recently rearranged my living room and when i reconnected up everything the detection didn't work any more.

Could it be something to do with the scart cable. How can I check that? One scart cable seems to be thicker then the other.

Any suggestions ???

U may have got the SCART leads mixed up and are using a one that is not fully wired. Pin 8 sends the signal for widescreen, chnage the leads around and everything should be ok. If not have a clsoe look at pin 8, may be bent etc.
