I think by the end of the week this will all make sense .
Seemingly that guy Knighton (carlisle owner) wouldnt sell to the Irish guy(mac Cormack).
And he has another club in his sights and wants his own manager in place when he buys and not before.
So Collins just opened his mouth and knew what would happen .

Apparantly after the 1-0 defeat he said that if they didny sell that if they didny sell to the Irish guy by wendsday he would quit so they sacked him

Sacked for that ?? So it has nothing got to do with him wanting to leave by wednesday if the chairman didnt inject money into the club.He said if the club was not sold by wednesday he will walk out .He has QPR in his sights .

who has qpr in his sights?no way will the hoops take collins in and eject the messiah that is Mr. Ian Holloway out the door after his first season in charge.he has single handedly change the prospects of a club that had little or no chance of survival at the start of the season to a club that has made a stab at the play offs.collins has done well at carisle; but not as well as holloway.

Collins is a fool and a jackass pure and simple. How stupid and ungrateful can one get. Does he realise the chance Michael Knighton took that not many English league chairmen would with a league of ireland manager. I think Notts County were the last with sam allardyce but thats going beyond the point im making. That fool deserves everything he gets and you would sware he was the chairman and not knighton with his insistent demands. To think QPR would even hire him. Big **** he only got Carlisle to where they were coz the rest of the league are horrendous!!!

In all fairness they were very nearly relegated from the league except for Jimmy Glass' heroics (an on loan keeper scored in injury time) not so long ago, and Collins has them in mid table in his first season. I do not think it was the club taking the punt on an Irish double winning manager I think it was him. I do not like the man but you can not argue with what he has achieved for Carlisle. In answer to someones question, yes the potential Irish buyer said he would rehire Collins if he got the club.
