So they seem to be against Israel's aggresiveness, but Bush wishes that the two countries live - "in peace and insecurity". Of course he probably meant - in peace and in security - but it sure sounded like insecurity to me!

And Bush thinks that Arafat should -"speak clearly, in Arabic, to the people of that region." I'm happy to see that Bush knows that they speak Arabic in Palestine as opposed to American for example.

The thing that gets me is the fact that they don't necessarily want to oust Saddam Hussein, they are "considering all options available to them". How else, surely, can this be taken but to either kill him or war with him?

If the Anglo-American Alliance attacks Iraq they will have serious probelms to deal with. The Islamic Nations have made it clear that they FULLY support Iraq. Kuwait has even backed them to an extent. The US has been threatned by Bahram that any action against Iraq will result in serious consquiences. Bahram being the host of the US military navy in the Gulf. Saudi Arbia has also issued similar sentiment.
The EU while not exactly fond of Saddam and would love to see the back of him know the value of compremise. They will kick up a fuss if the UK and US go after Saddam but they won't stop them.
Why not let the Uk/US get the back lash while the EU will still reap the rewards.
