Looks like that big lump of steely rock hardness is going to tear right through that butterskinned waif and turn her into a half a waif - a "walf" indeed.

Is he saying to her "I know it looks like a sword..."?

I take it you havent seen the mummy 2 GS, he cameod in that as the scorpion king and was actually pretty entertaining. This is not by any stretch of the imagination a challenging film, its pure escapism (im talking about the genre more than the film, as I havent seen it yet), so if you want to go into a cinema and be entertained I reckon you wouldnt be disappointed by this, the mummy parts 1 and 2 were in the exact same vein, and I thoroughly enjoyed them, and as I said the rock's cameo was pretty good too.

i really enjoyed Mummy 1, and ive yet to watch Mummy 2. I didnt know that he played a part in it

its not like hes new to acting of course, thats what the WWF is all about ;)

my opinion may change when i see both Mummy2 and The Scorpion King

    adios

I liked both Mummy films, so I'd probably go and see this too.

They were pretty enjoyable, pure SFX fests of course, but fun none the less.

Well I personally thought Mummy2 didnt have a patch on Mummy1 , but Im willing to give him a shot , The part with the rock actually in it were quite good , (Not the dodgy CGI bit at the end , the cheapness of which broke the hearts of millions of eight year old rocky fans worldwide) All I can say is Arnie Pulled of Conan, I dont see why Mr.Rock cant do this, Its hardly War and Peace is it? :)

Heh, can you smell what The Scorpion King is cooking ? Wonder will he use the Egyptian Peoples Elbow ?

From review I heard its like a watered-down version of Conan with worse acting. :D

I've seen that muppet in the wrestling he a moran, in the mummy it was mostly a cgi character!

The reviews from the states look pretty good for both the film and The Rocks acting abilitys.

I'd give it a look and the first trailer in the DVD extras from The Mummy 2 didn't seem to bad ether.

I also liked both of the Mummy movies. The second one is really cool. The scorpion king looks pretty good. i guess it going to be about the story the tell about him in the mummy 2. I think its supposed ot be a prequel or something?

He was ok in the Mummy returns- he did what he had to, shame the effects didn't near the end. and in star trek voyager he also did what he had to earn his check.

About the scorpion king, i suppose that it will be alright. Though i don't think it will be too much like the mummy stuff, only set in Egyptian times. all battles and the like. the fun stuff
