Watching services at cmd line?

I have a batch file that starts and stops various services when I need them.

However a lot of the services are dependant on each other and some start up other services (which are marked as manual).

I can't start my stuff until all services are up and running.

So my question is, is there some kind of program that will take a list of service names and then pop up a message when they are all running? or something in the task bar?

Currently I'm going into the services manager and hitting refresh which is a bit of a pain.
