BIOS neccessary???

i was usin this comp a while back (just thought about it now!) when i turned it on it said "bios not installed please hit esc to continue" so i did n it loaded! i thought a comp couldn't operate without the BIOS??? "just because ur not paraniod, doesn't mean they're not after u!"

I'd say it was "NCR bios not installed"
or "SCSI bios not installed"

If the computers own bios isnt installed, it wont work
