    That's a good choice...hard to improve upon that, although should Ben Affleck be Face? i'd have though someone more cooler should be face, maybe george clooney

    Wouldn't go for Gibson, I think someone thats older and classier.

    Matt Damon for Face (babyface)
    Ving Rhames with a Mohawk, woah ! or else Michael Clarke Duncan
    Brad Pitt for Murdoch , he can play loonies

    Don't they all need to be in their 50's at least?

    mmmm hard to get around that little stumbling block...after all they were on the run from the Military Police for after being accused for a crime they didn't commit etc etc - however, its the movies, I'm sure they could get around it - otherwise, Charlie's Angels would of involved more incontience pads and bingo then one likes to see in a movie :p

    Harrison ford for Hannibal, though hannibal had personality. All ford can do is frown and wag his finger.

    Can't argue with Ving Rhames. He'd rule.
    And Brad Pitt as Murdoch would be fantastic.

    But I'd keep the feck away from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
    Why not Ed Norton?
    Or even Spike Jonze?

    Not sure about Mel Gibson.
    Harrison Ford maybe.

    Its gotta be Robert Redford as Hannibal.
    Cant argue with Ving Rhames.
    Steve Buscemi as Murdoch would be interesting and well, you need the pretty boy for Face so Affleck or Pitt would be good.
    As for the obligatory babe, well just drag up one of the Picture threads from after hours and take your pick.

    Chuck Norris as Hannible
    Will Smith as B.A
    Tom Cruse as Face
    Tom Green as Murdoch.

    These are not final, and will and can be changed without notice and concent, usual conditions apply...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 875 ✭✭✭EvilGeorge

    What about Colonel Decker ?
    Whayhey - Richard Harris from police academy !!

    will smith - ha!, he's too small
    tom cruise - hmmm maaybe
    tom green = utter fúknut

    id have a mix of previous posts

    Hannibal = Bruice Willis
    BA = Ving Rhames or Samuel L Jackson
    Face = George cloney - but he looks too old hmm
    Murdoch = Steve Buscemi

    ok I think Ving Rhames has to be B.A. coz he's got the size and he's a great actor.
    Steve Buscemi for Murdoch, that's almost perfect.
    Brad Pitt maybe for Face, because when he's not acting in crap films like Meet Joe Black or whatever he's actually a pretty damn good actor.
    For Hannible, I dunno... De Niro maybe?

    Hannibal = H. Ford
    Face = C. Slater
    Murdoch = B. Pitt
    BA = L. Fishburn

    That's my 2p on the subject...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 804 ✭✭✭doubledown

    Actually, Michael Clarke Duncan (Armaggedon & The Green Mile) would be pretty good for B.A. too!!!!

    De Niro as Hannibal? Hmmmmmmmmm!!!

    "Hey Col. Decker! You talkin' to me?"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,309 ✭✭✭✭Bard

    Pfft...

    Use the Austin Powers combination...

    Robert Wagner as Hannibal Smith (perfect attitude, smokes cigars)
    Rob Lowe as Face/Templeton Peck (he definitely looks the part)

    Then I'd say stick with Ving Rhames as B.A. Baracus (when you absolutely positively have to have a big black mofo with a bad ass attitude?... accept no substitute!) and either Steve Buscemi or Brad Pitt as Murdoch (because they're both great at playing total nutjobs :) )...

    ... ... although, the original Murdoch (Dwight Schultz) is a very talented and accomplished actor and is still acting to this day (among other roles, he plays Star Trek's awkward and timid Lieutenant Reginald Barclay) ... give him a chance too! :)

    Lol, Spike Jonze as Murdoch, excellent. Either that or ole Stevie Buscemi ( I love that guy! ).

    DeNiro is the wrong type of actor. He's brilliant and all, but not an A-team type-of-person.

    Actually when I think of Hannibal Smith I'm always reminded of Martin Sheen. I have no idea why.

    Ving Rhames, deffo. Does Rob Lowe deserve another shot at Hollywood? I think so. He's slimey enough for the part ;) Maybe Andy Garcia. He's getting on a little though now isn't he.

    Chuck Norris sucks big time. I can't stand him.

    Gene Hackman for Hannibal
    Rob Lowe for Face
    tbh Im easy on Murdoch ,but MrT has to make a triumphant re-appearance for BA :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 235 ✭✭Yerac

    Well I wouldn't agree with Mel Gibson, can't stand the guy and I think Jim Carrey would be too over the top for Murdoch.

    I think it would be nice to have someone like Gene Hackman there and Brad Pitt as either Face or Murdoch would be good. Scott Bakula (qauntum leap and now enterprise would be another pick for Face.

    Somebody kind of hinted at it but didn't say it, what about Samuel L Jackson as BA? Harry from Third Rock from the Sun (French Stewart) could be good as HM.

    My choice would be :
    Gene Hackman(hannibal),
    Scott Bakula(face),
    French Stewart(Murdoch),
    Samuel L Jackson(BA)

    Face: Mark Wahlberg
    BA: Ice Cube
    Murdoch: Spike Jonze

    Well, it worked in Three Kings :D

    I hope as the climax of the film we actually get to see someone get killed before they run out of ammo and surrender.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,309 ✭✭✭✭Bard

    Oh, and of course, they simply HAVE to:
    • Build a tank out of a bus which hasn't been driven in 20-odd years
    • Save some pretty farmer's daughter from having her land reposessed by Money Lending WANKERS With Big Sticks (TM)
    • Smoke 700 cigars
    • Knock B.A. out with drugged milk and get him on a plane
    • Get Face to disguise himself as a pimp, for no reason whatsoever
    • Out fox the not so wily colonel who has made it his life long ambition to root them out
    • Grin at the camera in the most cheesy way possible while standing around in a semi-circle, then laugh hysterically until everything fades to black

    ... during the course of the movie.

    I have to say that Mark Wahlberg wouldn't be a bad choice as Face...

    But Ice Cube should be shot before he even tries to get near the role!

    Ving Rhames all the way!!!

    While I agree he'd be an alright choice for the role, - the fact that he's dead some time would kinda discount him :rolleyes:

    Hannibal => Robert Redford- similar type of role to Sneekers-

    Face=> John Cusack- á la Grosse Pointe Blank

    BA=> Forrest Whitaker (bit out of left field-I know :p)

    Murdoch=> Michael Richards (Kramer from Seinfeld)- He's similarly Insane !!

    Okay let me think... my Star Trek version of the A-Team cast :-)
    • Hannibal - William Shatner (Kirk)
    • B.A. - Michael Dorn (Worf)
    • Murdock - Brent Spiner (Data) or Robert Picardo (The Doctor)
    • Face - Okay, this choice wasn't as successful but there's Robert Duncan McNeill (Paris) except for the hair (see below *) or Alexander Siddig (Bashir) or hell even Riker might do...

    * Tom Paris and the Hair Club for Helmsmen

    If they can cure so many diseases and simple illnesses in the 24th century, why can't they do anything about hairloss? Obvious Captain Picard was an advanced case, but could nothing have been done to treat Tom Paris before he showed advance symptoms? It used to be that a combover did the trick, but over the past few years it's been getting pretty sparse up front. Why can't the Doctor do anything about this? If he can integrate Chakotay's consciousness back into his head, turn Captain Janeway back into a human being after living as a reptile, why can't he replicate some hair for poor Tom?

    Mike Tyson would be a great BA! I've never seen him act but it worked for Mr. T.

    And Jack Nicholson for Hannibal without a doubt.
