    Ive a greatv one now, but its a noisy fecker. any of yes' know a good un thats not too noisy ?

    Best way to go is to get a quieter 80mm fan (that pushes the same cfm) with an 80mm-60mm duct.

    Since you say socket A fan, perhaps you mean fan and heatsink? Since fans by themselves are not specific to any particular socket. I'd recommend the alpha pal 8045 heatsink, it is 80mm and takes any 80mm fan without a wasteful fandapter. Running an 80mm at 7v on this heatsink will cool any current amd chip with ease while running quietly.
