Liverpool (wan !) v Bayern Leverkusen

    Man utd v Deportivo

Winners meet each other in semis! 0_o

    Panathinaikos v Barcelona

    Bayern Munich v Real Madrid

Winners meet each other in semis! 0_o

So what a prospect in hand we have An all English Semi and an all Spanish Semi should be interesting to see what the odds are on a Barca Liverpool Final (just speculating dont jump down me throat~!)

    /me runs to Ladbrokes!

Liverpool probably would have prefered Man U to add another two thrashings onto the recent run :)

    My tip for the semi-finals:

    Liverpool v Deportivo

    Bayern Munich v Real Madrid.

    Bayern Munich v Real Madrid.

how can they both be in the semi's when that is one of the QF draws?

I have a funny feeling about ManUre :(

Both finallists are coming from two of the draws i would guess. ManUre/Deportivo Vs Real/Bayern.

Both those matches are pretty close to call and i reckon they are the strongest teams on thier respective sides of the draw.

    United all the way! :)

Do I get a slight suspicion of fixing going on there?

Just looking at the draws there and none of the teams from their respective countries are meeting each other.

Yeah it has to be United. It's fated, same as when they beat Bayern Munich in the final the night of Matt Busby's birthday. This time with the Final in Glasgow and all whats gone on with Alex Ferguson this season, its just got to be Manchester United. Right? :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,538 ✭✭✭PiE

    Wrong.

Even if they do manage to miraculously beat Deportivo, Liverpool will hammer them* so they won't even make it to Glasgow.

We WILL beat Deportivo and Liverpool. And please keep saying 4 wins in a row... it will turn against you.

And when we do make it to the final I can't see us losing against any team, Madrid or Bayern wont stop us in Glasgow...

    So...
    Follow, follow, follow,
Because United are going to Glasgow,
And there'll be thousands of Reds,
And we'll be pissed out our heads,
Because United are going to Glasgow.

    Follow, follow, follow,
Because United are going to Glasgow,
    We'll be Champions again,
That makes it 8 out of 10,
And the first to do 4 in a rooooooow.

Do you make those little ditties up yourself or is there a Man Utd Dittie Generator for sale somewhere?

And I think it's a bit more than four win in a row...

I got alot of the songs from the Blackburn match (afterwards in the Trafford pub). But there is a site that provides all of the songs... http://www.m-u-f-c.co.uk

The Charity shield doesn't count as I have said before. It is a friendly competition. Thats right... it meant just about as much as the Ireland, Russia match... Fu<k all!

I'd love a barce liverpool final.
    semi-finals I reckon
    Liverpool v Deportivo
    Real v Barcelona

    final then maybe
Liverpool v Real as Deportivo may mess up against Liverpool over 2 legs

and then the cup goes to Liverpool wahey

i don't think Liverpool or United will make it through.

Liverpool are too weak for Bayer Leverkusen and Deportivo i feel are the best team in Europe at the moment

Thats rubbish. Liverpool have beaten better teams than Leverkusen, Roma being the prime example.

Liverpool to meet Deportivo in semi-final,
Baralona to play Real in other semi,
Liverpool to play Real in final
    Liverpool win! :D

/me hands Ronan|Raven "Ann and Barry go to the Seaside" (so he can learn to read), and a broken broom handle so he can go **** himself.

Oooh ann and barry my fave :D and as for the broom handle ya best remove it from yerself first :p

From reading yer post I had assumed you were referring that you thought I had meant that Real and Bayern would be in the semis when I was referring to the two teams posted that the winner of Bayern v Real and Barca v Panathinikos each would play each other in the semis.

On another note Roma and Galatasary got their punishment for the brawl that took place after there game. Roma getting fined in the region of £80,000 stg, being forced to play the next European game in a neutral stadium, and have 2 players afaik banned for 3 games and batistuta banned for one game more about it here http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/Country_News/0,2539,762,00.html#457040

I'm a Man Utd supporter (Please don't hit me!) and i'd love to see a Man Utd vs Liverpool semi-final, I think that Deportivo will be too strong for Utd, so it'll probably be a Liverpool vs Deportivo semi-final.
If Utd don't win the cup, I hope that Liverpool do.
What about an all Milan final for the UEFA Cup?
*says the big AC Milan fan* :D

the only reason united lost to deportivo was because of two mistakes which won't happen again!!! United all the way! Bring them on, bring them all on!!! We may of trowen away the premiership but we wont let the champions league go as well

who says they wont make mistakes.
    you are fortune teller.

i love the way utd fans set themselves up for a big fall.
and when they get beaten all you hear for months is 'well, we were in the champions league' and 'we won the treble' etc etc etc.
    i hope you lose.
    i hope you lose well.
and i hope liverpool píss all over the competition and we can say that liverpool are a better team than utd (well, we already know that)

They're making a meal out of Serie A too, the injury to Rui Costa didn't help. Hopefully they'll have enough skill to beat Dortmund in the semi-final.

Look WhiteWashMan I'd love to see Liverpool do well i've great admiration for the pool but Bayern Labercusion will be a very hard task for them it will test everything they have & i dont think they will do it not this year anyhow!!! As for United David May & Wes Brown are back playing in the reserves, two of in my opinion are the best defenders at Old Trafford at the moment & hopefully will be back for the match against Deportivo!!! and thats why i think united all the way!!!
