    It's pretty obvious that people have become disheatened with the church over the last 20 or so years. The fact that we're a passing through a rather affluent time in our nations history isn't helping matters either. More and more people find they have less and less need for the Catholic church, especially after its name has been blackened (and I would say rightly so) by the 'scandals and revelations' over the past few years.

    I never go to church.

    I work in, and drink in, a bar in north Co. Dublin.

    No surprises here for me.
