Personal Planner Problem

Last night I was browsing through the TV guide when I accidentally pressed Select while it was highlighting channel 434 for the F1 Interactive on Saturday next.

Since then I cannot get into my personal planner by pressing TV Guide and 0. When I do the digbox powers off and goes into standby mode.

When I select another programme from the TV guide it does go into the Personal Planner but when I try to move down to the second page where the mistake is the box powers off also.

I have tried the software upgrade by pressing the backup button before powering on but this has not fixed it either. I can still add new items to the PP and all other reminders are coming up.

Should I wait until Saturday to see if the reminder comes up or should I ring Sky now

ring them now anyway, what have you to lose (apart from a few hours on hold)

    did you try rebooting?

I tried rebooting four or five times.

I even tried deleting items in the PP. When I selected a programme in the TV guide and it brought you into the PP I tried to delete a few of the entries. It seems it would allow me to delete entries until the problem entry would be due to appear on the first page and then go into standby mode again.

Looks like I will have ring Sky tonight.

Rang Sky last night regarding this and after the CS girl asked me to reboot she had a word with someone on the next tech level and came back to say that I must go back to the local dealer I purchased it through.

I am still inside the first 12 months of my contract so will I be entitled to receive a new digibox?

The girl in Sky said it was still under warranty but I have found nothing in the contract about a warranty.

Try removing the sky card and rebooting it and reinsert the sky card and the programme should be gone.

well seeing as you are still within your first 12 months subs, then sky still own the box so they have to fix it.
