    NT5 drops support for all legacy drivers and hardware. 16-bit driver code won't work any more; drivers using old APIs won't work any more; 3D-only graphics cards won't work any more.

    While this will cause hassle for some people, in the long run it is a Very Good Thing. It means vendors have to write decent bleedin' drivers for their hardware, and support up-to-date standards, and it cuts down massively on the bloat of Windows itself... notice those nice fast load times?

    nt5 has a new "rating" system. Microsoft were so ****ed off at being blamed for the poor programming of other companies (ID), that they only give a "2000 approved" sticker to programs that pass the rigourous testing.

    Did Q3A have the sticker? My copy didn't.

    I got it for xmas and still havn't played it online! It's ****e! C'mon the mods.

    Fast load times?! Yeah once it gets past the 4 minutes (thats 240 second) boot-up then it sure loads quick.

    Piece of crap. I'm waiting til they've released it a year & the upgrades start coming out...
