autorun.inf???

    can any1 give me some ideas as how to write an autorun.inf file. Do i need an executable to load it or what? Cheers!

    i have a handy one at home
    comes with its own editor
    mate of mine used it for his divx's
    pups up a nice menu when u load the cd - click on buttons for say the movie, the sound track0 some dvd extras he also ripped

    if i remember il upload and like it here when i get hoome :D

    Jeez lads, I expect more from yis - could you not just take a look at an existing one? hmm...

    In any case, how to do it is simple: create a text file called autorun.inf in the root of the cd. Add the following text:
    [autorun] 
    open=whatever.exe 
    icon=whatever.ico 
    

    The icon is for changing the drive icon when the cd loads.
