Im a big Liverpool fan but with only4 points from 5 games it doesnt look like LIverpool will make it to the Quarter finals

What I dont like is that Liverpool have only scored twice, that's miserable.

No no no, if Liverpool win by 2 goals then it doesn't matter what happens in the other game, Roma will have 7 pts as will Liverpool and Liverpool go thru as they drew n beat Roma, k?

"Liverpool will qualify for the last eight if they beat Roma at Anfield and the other group game between Galatasaray and Barcelona is not a draw.

If that game is drawn, then Liverpool will need to see off the Serie A giants by a two goal margin.

I fear Bard is right, Liverpool and two goals are not euro compatible. Not this season anyway.

I wouldn't say that, I think they were unlucky not to score against Barca, If they attack(little else they can do) they have every chance

If anelka was eligable for europe we would no doubt score 2 against roma. Fingers crossed in any case.

I predict a Roma victory!

Liverpool did well last season, but i think they need another couple of world class players to be as good as the elite few clubs that challange for the Champions League every year.

My friend was extremely convinced that Liverpool need only beat Roma by any margin to qualify, due to the most wins against Roma rule. Or something. NOT goal difference anyway...

Roma's 3 first-choice central backs are out btw. Which means that 37 year old Aldair will probably be playing. Owen: GET FIT!

Hopefully Liverpool can get a result tonight I'd like to see them make the next round (Unfortunately my head says they won't).

Don't know if u were bein sarcastic or not with that last comment so I'm either agreeing or disagreeing:D

Liverpool can do well in cups, as we've seen before.

If they can beat those at top of Serie A.....

Bloody Hell, wellplayed Liverpool. Roma weren't even in that game.

Now I just have to cross my fingers, toes and everything else for a result in Turin tomorrow night !

I reckon Arsenal will beat Juve tomorrow. And in any case, if they cant beat a reserve team they've no place in the Quarters anyway ;]

Sweet both my teams went through, and my god did Liverpool do it with style. If they continue to play like that I'd say they could beat anyone.
Lets just hope they can carry the momentum forward and beat Chelsea on the weekend.
