    Some good news regarding Liverpool defender Markus babbel
    he seems to be over Guillain-Barre disease and is starting his fitness recovery programme. The Reds have even offered to extend his deal till 2006.

    M.Houlier was back at Melwwod (in his tracksuit!) over the weekend so all looks good there too.

    Anelka top sign deal at end of season? Hopefully! :)

    Now if only Jamie Rednapp could get fit and stay that way...

    More good news is that Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing Marc Overmars from Barcelona, as have Leeds.

    If we got him we could finally ditch Smicer.

    All good news there Mike but I'd say we'll see the back of Redknapp in the summer possibly followed by Smicer and Litmanen. Liverpool are sniffing out Barry Ferguson and Brett Emerton but Newcastle are in for Emerton too.
    I wouldn't mind seeing either play for us next season but I would have a bit of a preference for Emerton even if there would be non-eu complications.
    I'm hoping that Anelka will sign for us in the summer too the prospect of him and Owen playing up front with Heskey starting to get the hang of things on the left is making my mouth water.
    I also think that we can take the league this season, GH is back just at the right time to rally the team into an unbeaten run till the end of the season which is what I think we have to do if we want to win it.
    Jesus I love this ****, this is shaping up to be the most exciting league run in in years.

    I read that Litmanan is happy to play a supporting role and as I've said before his future at Liverpool should be as a creative midfielder not striker. I heard that story about Rednapp being linked to a London club I think. Spurs in fact (I've just spent 10 mins looking for the story! Is'nt the web wonderful).


    Oh yes Owen to join Real in the summer for £50million, ha!
    He's worth far more in goals thus Champions Laegue footie.

    I like Thommo but he's a product of his time which to say
    he proberly has a ceratin suspicion of fancy foreigners esp if they are fowards!

    I think that if we get rid of Smicer or 1 of the midfielders and put Litmanan in midefield and Anelka with either Owen or Heskey up front we would be unstopable Go on the POLL:D
