is there even such a thing available? surely OS X can be made to support chips other then the G4. but if they did that Apple would lose money on hardware. but then again, im not a CEO which means i dont care about that ****.

if winXP is my cocaine, surely OS X is my crack?

It seems that if any Mac Os - X would be the best at supporting alternate chipsets, although I wouldn't be an expert. OSX being UNIX based would be compatible with any UNI based systems surely.

I would be interested to see a Mac emulator tho, interesting idea, maybe it exists...

If OSX is my crack - Mac is my serial number...

There's no emulator for full OS-X.

Have a look at Basilisk (try a google search). It emulates up to 7.5.3 on Windows I think - and it's supposed to be very good.

Menawhile, you can get Darwin, which is the base of OSX.

It's essentially *BSD with a Mach Kernel

    here:

    http://publicsource.apple.com/projects/darwin/1.4/release.html

It corresponds to OSX 10.1. It's a 230Mb ISO for x86. You can also get Xfree86 and other stuff from http://publicsource.apple.com/

Apple will never release the code for Aqua though, which is I expect what you want :)

apple have actually released darwin(the unix base of os x) for x86 processors. but they didnt port the fancy aqua window manager over. but give it time and the beardies will build somthing that resembles aqua :)
