A friend has an evolution MK149 keyboard connected up to his PC (PIIII with 64 bit Sound card), He double-checked that everything was connected correctly. His problem is that he can't hear any sound from his PC when he tries to play or record with the keyboard, yet the demo's on the software and the software keyboard work fine.
Any solutions on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Double check your cables (Orientation, basic connection if it has a DIN aswell as the joystick style connector for output).
Make sure that the soundcards Midi In Port is selected in the software you're using (which is?).
If you also have any joystick utilities (like Msoft.s Sidewinder monitors), disable them to make sure there isn't a conflict.

What's the soundcard (There are no 64 bit soundcards btw, 24bit is as high as they go, unless you're talking about internal processing/interpolation but it's industry standard to name them for the DAC/ADC bit depth.)?
